I did wonder whether Elena would hang up her wig-hats or return to us when Cannes did. In lieu of a film fest last year, we did a bunch of flashbacks, [including a gallery of her past exploits there](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/in-celebration-of-cannes-noted-kook-elena-lenina-05-2020/); it made me wonder whether, in the vein of "If a tree falls and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound," Elena simply powered down for the year or if she amused herself by doing her hair like this just to sit at home and stream *Love Island*. The good news is, her mojo has returned -- and we have bonus MacDowell, Kruger, and Huppert for you too.
