## Meryl Streep

I feel that I can say with great certainty, despite not knowing her personally: Meryl seems really fun.

Also, she looks great. (She looked EXTRA great at the photocall earlier in the day, which we'll be posting later.) Chic, elegant, easy. Stylist Micaela Erlanger has been nailing her wardrobe lately.

## The Jury

CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 14: (L-R) Jury Members, Omar Sy, President of the Jury Greta Gerwig, Lily Gladstone, Nadine Labaki, Hirokazu Kore-eda, Ebru Ceylan, Juan Antonio Bayona, Jury Member, Eva Green and Jury Member, Pierfrancesco Favino attend "Le Deuxième Acte" ("The Second Act") Screening & opening ceremony red carpet at the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals on May 14, 2024 in Cannes, France. Here's your entire jury: Omar Sy, Greta Gerwig, Lily Gladstone, Nadine Labaki, Hirokazu Kore-eda, Ebru Ceylan, Juan Antonio Bayona, Eva Green and Pierfrancesco Favino. A competent and lightly coordinated bunch.

They BOTH look dishy.

For some reason, it was hard for me to get several good shots of Lily on her own -- she looks fab in this. Everyone here look good!

## Pierfrancesco Favino, Eva Green, Greta Gerwig and Lily Gladstone

Do we think the women's stylists confabbed? I need a logistics interview.

## Greta Gerwig in custom Saint Laurent

Love that she's wearing something archival and the styling is REALLY leaning in.

Fabulous as usual -- and this seems like a good place to note that you should watch *Call My Agent!*. Her episode is Cannes-centric and it is so good.

## Hirokazu Kore-eda

EXTREMELY DASHING!

[Cannes Begins! The Opening Ceremony: The Judges + Meryl StreepThank God, it's time to go to Gown Town. (Which I assume is a shop in a college town somewhere that sells graduation robes.)![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2024/05/gettyimages-2152931875-1715714556-scaled.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/cannes-begins-the-opening-ceremony-the-judges-meryl-streep-05-2024/)
