(Photo by Karwai Tang/WireImage) I wish she'd had a triumphant dress; alas, this looks like lingerie scraps with a half-finished overlay. ## Margaret Qualley ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2216765526-1748220502.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 23: Margaret Qualley attends the "Honey Don't!" red carpet at the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals on May 23, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Lionel Hahn/Getty Images) Chanel has done a lot worse for her, but it could also have done a lot better -- namely, by making this fit her chest. She shouldn't HAVE to be coached to stand so that her right boob doesn't look like it's making a run for it. ## Aubrey Plaza, Margaret Qualley ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2216818811-1748220537.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 24: Aubrey Plaza and Margaret Qualley attend the "Honey Don't!" photocall at the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals on May 24, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Stephane Cardinale - Corbis/Corbis via Getty Images) I would absolutely watch this spy show. ## with Charlie Day ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2216805933-1748220511.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 24: (L-R) Aubrey Plaza, Charlie Day and Margaret Qualley pose during the "Honey Don't!" photocall at the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals on May 24, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Daniele Venturelli/WireImage) Charlie is also in their movie, and he looks so dapper here -- the shoes are GREAT. Men, pay attention to your feet. ![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2025/05/gettyimages-2216812714-1748220518.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 24: Margaret Qualley and Aubrey Plaza during the "Honey Don't!" photocall at the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals on May 24, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Stephane Cardinale - Corbis/Corbis via Getty Images) I just thought this was cute. Her cast mates clearly tried to keep spirits high. ## Simone Ashley ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2216828420-1748220555.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 24: Simone Ashley is seen at Hotel Martinez during day twelve of the 78th Cannes Film Festival on May 24, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Arnold Jerocki/GC Images) If you don't look too long at this, it's so chic and carefree. If you stare, you realize the top is totally wonky, and WHY does it look like there's a sleeve coming around her hip? ## Elle Fanning ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2216827750-1748220547.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 24: Elle Fanning is seen at Hotel Martinez during day twelve of the 78th Cannes Film Festival on May 24, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Arnold Jerocki/GC Images) So good. ## Aubrey Plaza ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2216815926-1748220529.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 24: Aubrey Plaza is seen leaving Hotel JW Marriott during day twelve of the 78th Cannes Film Festival on May 24, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Jacopo Raule/GC Images) This is cute, too, although the top looks kind of like it's loose. ## Simone Ashley ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2216735231-1748220485.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 23: Simone Ashley attends the L'Oreal - Lights on Women Award at the 78th Cannes film festival on May 23, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Arnold Jerocki/Getty Images for L'Oreal) Red is SO GOOD on her. ## Elle Fanning ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2216735043-1748220462.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 23: Elle Fanning attends the L'Oreal - Lights on Women Award at the 78th Cannes film festival on May 23, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Arnold Jerocki/Getty Images for L'Oreal) I know this trying to be all edgy and sculptural and FASHUN, but I think the only reason it doesn't look 100 percent silly is that she is Elle Fanning. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2216735078-1748220471.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 23: Elle Fanning attends the L'Oreal - Lights on Women Award at the 78th Cannes film festival on May 23, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Arnold Jerocki/Getty Images for L'Oreal) I do quite like the open back and the red bow tie in her braid. Like a mullet, all the fun is in the back. ## Jane Fonda ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2216734756-1748220453.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 23: Jane Fonda attends the L'Oreal - Lights on Women Award at the 78th Cannes film festival on May 23, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Arnold Jerocki/Getty Images for L'Oreal) She knows what works. ## Viola Davis ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2216733475-1748220446.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 23: Viola Davis attends the L'Oreal - Lights on Women Award at the 78th Cannes film festival on May 23, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Arnold Jerocki/Getty Images for L'Oreal) She deserves so much more than this. ## Cate Blanchett ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2216702859-1748220438.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 23: Cate Blanchett is seen at "Le Majestic" Hotel during day eleven of the 78th Cannes Film Festival on May 23, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Pierre Suu/GC Images) That is an awkward t-shirt length. ## John C. Reilly ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2216550128-1748220430.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 22: John C. Reilly attends Variety and Rai Cinema Dinner at Cannes Film Festival on May 22, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Pierre Suu/Variety via Getty Images) Since we can't see entirely what the backdrop says, I've decided it reads HEATHER TATTOO and he's about to get my name on his chest. ## Juliette Binoche, Hong Sang-soo, Jeremy Strong, Dieudo Hamadi, Halle Berry, Alba Rohrwacher ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2216287075-1748220420.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 21: (L-R) Juliette Binoche, Hong Sang-soo, Jeremy Strong, Dieudo Hamadi, Halle Berry, Alba Rohrwacher during the mayor's Aioli Lunch at the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival at on May 21, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Sylvain Lefevre/Getty Images) Halle Berry's little day dress is so good, as is Dieudo Hamadi's grin. And of course Jeremy's purple. I like to think he just did the Kendall Roy rap and they're all delighted. ## Paul Mescal ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2215768558-1748220411.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 22: Paul Mescal poses during "The History of Sound" photocall at the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals on May 22, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by JB Lacroix/FilmMagic) I honestly think kicks like Jeremy's would have worked better with this outfit. ## Eva Longoria ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2215711744-1748220403.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 18: Eva Longoria is seen at Hotel Martinez during day six of the 78th Cannes Film Festival on May 18, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Jacopo Raule/GC Images) That's a lot of seams and pulling and whatnot, but she prevails. ## Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2215543047-1748220395.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 17: Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu is seen at Hotel Martinez during day five of the 78th Cannes Film Festival on May 17, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Jacopo Raule/GC Images) This bodice leaves me cold. ## Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2215535878-1748220385.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 17: Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu is seen during day five of the 78th Cannes Film Festival on May 17, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Arnold Jerocki/GC Images) THIS one is super, though. I'd have scooped back her hair. ## Sofia Boutella ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2215069685-1748220367.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 14: Sofia Boutella is seen at Hotel Martinez during day two of the 78th Cannes Film Festival on May 14, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Jacopo Raule/GC Images) I can just HEAR the 90210 theme music. ## Ariana Greenblatt ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2215211214-1748220376.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 15: Ariana Greenblatt is seen at Hotel Martinez during day three of the 78th Cannes Film Festival on May 15, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Arnold Jerocki/GC Images) Well, she's 17\. I guess one sort of predictably stereotypically Frenchy-French outfit is in the cards. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/05/GettyImages-2214884483-1748220359.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 13: Ariana Greenblatt is seen at Hotel Martinez during day one of the 78th Cannes Film Festival on May 13, 2025 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Arnold Jerocki/GC Images) She's using a digital camera that ISN'T her phone?
