I really love this Gucci on her -- it gives me the vaguest sense that I've seen it on her before, but it's also very elegant and she's totally nailed the romantic hair with it.

This is the angle with the better lighting. I couldn't decide, so I decided to give you both of them. I like to keep Fug Nation as informed as possible.

This is ALSO really cute and flattering. I'm not sure how she manages to look like she's genuinely thrilled to be everywhere after what must've been an exhausting year, but she should write a book about it and send it to people who act like the press that's part of their paychecks is like a root canal.

And LOOK AT HER SKIN. I would need to nap for a thousand years to look that good.

She had a cute, swingy coat, too, and you know how we GFY ladies covet a coat.

This isn't my absolute favorite, maybe. I don't dislike it, though, and the hair and makeup are the right choice for something that has such an Old Movie vibe to it. But what I DO love is that it looks like David Schwimmer is in the middle of wolf-whistling at her. Sometimes I think maybe I didn't appreciate the Schwim while we had him. His work as Ross mostly holds up, and despite being distracting in Band of Brothers on first viewing, he was actually really, really good in it. Oh, Schwim. Come back to us.

The pattern is loud, or at least very chatty. But the hair and makeup are great with it and go a long way toward selling it; what's tripping me up is the shoe. They seem like they are trying SO HARD to be inoffensive and unnoticeable that in fact they become the loudest thing of all.

This is my least favorite of all the ensembles, I think -- she's at a daytime photocall for an animated movie (Madagascar 3: Sure, Why Not) so I suspect it's supposed to seem youthful and flirty, but instead there's something a bit Betsey Johnson for Victoria's Secret about it.

This is the sleeker version of what she wore to this exact party last year. Although where last year the shoes made her feet seem huge, these make them seem sort of stunted. I like it, though. It's clean, relaxing. A punchy hue. Exactly what Calvin Klein does best.

Ostensibly I put this here to show that Chastain's dress looks a slightly different color in brighter light, so as to be truly informative for you. But let's face it: This is for the Krugceyphiles.
