Balenciaga is owned by Kering, which hosts a lot of events at Cannes, including one in which Michelle participated, So maybe this was part of the deal, although there are so many other brands... anyway, this is all fine and glam, and it's Michelle Yeoh, so it's gonna be a success on some level. I DO feel like it looks heavy and cumbersome.

This heavy slop job is also Balenciaga, so that's TWICE they've weighed her down.

This is custom, and certainly, those gloves scream Balenciaga's stretchy work -- the boots, the catsuits -- and this is one of the Kering events, so of course. Admittedly, this is great on her. Of all the support she has given to this the brand this past weekend, it's the one I understand the most, I guess.

Whereas I shall issue the hardest of passes on this. Queen Victoria was a very bummed-out widow for a huge chunk of her reign, and I imagine her redoing at least one bathroom in this wallpaper.

I assume THIS is ALSO Balenciaga, as Denma surely would love designing a top that so closely resembles a badly dislocated shoulder. Huppert has often been so glamorous, and these are two big thuds for her, designer notwithstanding.
