Cara D in Moschino

When in France, I suppose.

Cara D

Somehow, this is less hammy to me than her walking around in a beret that says "ANARCHY." Maybe in part because I feel like any real anarchist isn't interested in the order and routine of ordering berets that announce their intentions.

Emily Ratajkowski

She has clearly decided Cannes is Her Time. As walking around goes, this seems fairly normal, which I appreciate. Because it could have gone another way.

I am not that opposed to this outfit, either, except for the ruffly flowered straps. I just want to pull the sleeves up over her shoulders into their rightful place, and pretend the straps don't exist.

Elle Fanning

Apparently, the bag, sweater, and shades are Miu Miu. No one has claimed the rest.

Elle Fanning also somehow NEVER has sunglasses that suit her face. She might be the only person in the world who thus far has NOT been hotter in sunglasses. I also find this entire outfit needlessly fussy for ambling around la Croisette.

Bella Hadid and Hailey Baldwin

Bella wore this to a restaurant, and not to Erotic Tennis, as you might have assumed.

Michelle Williams

I could have told her that nightshirt wouldn't travel well jammed into an airplane seat. Even a First Class one. But, she didn't ask.

Lily Donaldson

Lily wore a terrible white Dior from this collection, and now has become the umpteenth person to fall for the black version, too. Is it seriously THAT exciting to get a free dress? Is Dior a mousetrap, baiting itself with French cheese and then zipping up the dress once its victim is properly tricked?

I assume she only halfway dressed up because she's got to sit in a dark room and watch a bunch of movies.

Eva Longoria

Eva Longoria used to open Cannes. She went to the first parties, the first premieres. Now she's just wandering out of restaurants looking kind of aimless. I wish the bottom of this was a skirt, and that she was on a TV show that wasn't Empire. Because I find her highly entertaining. (This story is funny.)

Monica Bellucci

Monica and Robin Wright are only a year apart. Both are great-looking people with enviable figures. But only one of them is wearing something even Bella Hadid might glance at with derision (or boredom).

Lady Victoria Hervey

And then O LOOK, IT'S LADY VIC, making up for being not as naked at the evening's premiere. You can point all you want, lady. It's not going to help. You look like a screen saver.

HOWEVER, this may be my new profile photo.
