It's ALSO too short. She is such a striking figure, she's not going to look actively BAD, but this feels like it's not hitting on all cylinders, styling-wise. Both of those shots could conceivably be repurposed as jewelry ads. I don't love it...but I DO love the idea of Angela sweeping in and announcing that she has a vision for this gown and it's SCRUNCHIES! (I'd also note that Angela is definitely going to win the Oscar and it's good for her to get the underwhelming selections out of the way before that big night.
