For the most part I really like this. The trouble is that from the front I think it starts to look confusing. l I can't totally tell what's what, or if it's pants, or how the fabrics come together. Oddly, from the side you get a better sense...

You can see more clearly the dress underneath and the fullness and romanticism of the overlay. I keep thinking it might be more striking in a color, or even black, but then maybe that would draw too much attention to the two disparate pieces, where at least this way they meld more into one? I'm not sure. From the front, I find myself wishing the MOST that it were a color.

I generally do not like those drapey tops that drizzle down to the floor. I don't know if it's flawless construction or the fact that Gemma Chan has turned out to be REALLY good at pulling things off, but I LOVE THIS on her and think it's a clever combination of grace and fun.

That is the best thing Chloe has worn, and I say that even knowing it needs a hoik and is needlessly transparent. It's still by far her most interesting pick, and I quite like it. Elizabeth also looks nice in that, but she needs a bracelet and maybe a different haircut?
