When I saw this photo in tiny thumbnail form, I thought it was Cate Blanchett -- and being mistaken for Cate Blanchett is obviously a compliment to be treasured like a precious gift from a beloved paramour. But I also thought, "hot *damn*, I need a pair of those shoes for myself, although I rarely leave my home and can barely walk in heels any more and everyone at the market would wonder what on earth I was thinking when I tripped in them and fell into a giant end-cap full of Entenmann's, upsetting cheese danishes all over the place." But it's a price I'm willing to pay. Even if the price of these, more than likely, is not.
