To me....this is perfect. (I also feel like Margot could have worn this on her Barbie tour, honestly.) It's based on a 1951 piece and it's...flawless.

This was apparently a "back-up look" and it's ALSO FLAWLESS give your stylist a RAISE.

This is also a recreation of a 1951 Dior. IT'S LOVELY. I did read (in Instagram comments) that the original has a more brown top and I imagine the detailing might pop more in that color? It's fab, though.

Every party has a pooper and this party's pooper is this dress! It just feels...old? (I would have maybe last minute lost the skirt, honestly.)

This is also glam and surprisingly boob-y for Carey Mulligan. (I approve!) I feel like she got sucked into one of those Instagram ads for Boob Job In a Chicken Cutlet Insert. You know the ones I mean, right? Or am I somehow in Chicken Cutlet Insert Instagram now?

I don't really vibe with this. I think the less formal wear was less successful than the gowns this time.
