You youngs will not know this, but that Wedding Wreath is VEEEEEERRRRRRRRY 1983\. I was a flower girl in many a wedding that required lil wedding wreaths. Carrie's feathered bangs are also very 1983.

White lace to a wedding, Penny!??!?! I'm scandalized! (I jest; Penny Marshall could wear whatever she wanted to MY 1983 wedding, as long as it involved a monogram.) Art Garfunkel looks absolutely as expected. And this is our first DID THEY DATE?!?! The answer is yes and for a long time and I just did not know this! He said she helped him come out of a depression and parts of the internet think she helped him and Paul Simon patch things up (clearly not forever; aren't they currently not speaking?), and also I read that they once took a European bike trip, which IS the code for True Love.

This was clearly a fairly casual event, although 1983 Christie Brinkley of course looks like an actual goddess. Billy looks like he's gotten a nice tan over the summer.

Is Robin Williams wearing coveralls? This feels right. (This is truly a slideshow full of TV stars who were well-known for their accessories, as Robin had just concluded his stint wearing those snazzy rainbow suspenders as Mork.)

I feel like Charles Grodin ALWAYS looked EXACTLY like this. Forever!

Kevin Kline looks like he's wearing one of those old jokey disguises of fake glasses with an attached mustache; Dana is adorable. I can't figure out if they dated but -- fun fact! -- Kevin's middle name is "Delaney" so maybe they're distant distant cousins. (Having said that, I think Dana and Phoebe Cates look somewhat alike, so Kevin may have a type.)
