In addition to this being generally delightful, I am so glad Billie did not wear a dress with Leia in the bikini. I mean, whatever, if she had, that's fine too, but that image has taken over so much because Carrie's bod was hot, and while I understand wanting to memorialize that hotness, it wasn't the essence of what Leia was about or why she was awesome.

## Billie and Austen Rydell

I am glad her husband was there with her. And of course, her two best friends, C3PO and R2D2.

## Mark Hamill

Mark was the only Star Wars actor there, whom I saw referred to as "her space brother," and that is funny phrasing to me. I know they DO typically limit these things, but I feel like I've seen a few more faces in the past? It's definitely possible everyone is busy or elsewhere, but it would have been cool even if one of the younger guard showed up. But if you have to pick, Luke Skywalker IS a great get.

## JJ Abrams

JJ Abrams did a terrible job with the new movies -- really. mostly a) The Rise of Skywalker, and b) refusing to have a Bible for the entire trilogy before he embarked on The Force Awakens, because COME ON. But, it's good that he came, and I am in fact a bit sad that George Lucas wasn't there. Who KNOWS what's going on with him, though, or whether they even got along in the end.

## Bryan Lourd and Billie Lourd

Bryan is Billie's father, and THEY seem to have a good relationship, which is nice. It's interesting that she didn't bring her kids, although one is a VERY new baby. Also, it underscores that she does actually keep her life pretty locked down.

## Matt Bomer and Simon Halls and fam

I don't know why Matt Bomer and his family are there, but it's lovely -- I once bowled next to them in Studio City and they all seemed great -- but I can tell you that if I had to get up and do a thing that made me nervous and emotional, I TOO would like to look out into the crowd and see Matt Bomer.
