Considering these are very tiny high-waisted shorts -- like shrinken culottes -- it is a surprise to me that I don't hate this. She's bringing some verve to it, at least, and I enjoy the olde-timey-ness of her moderately heeled gold dancing shoes.
I mean... her legs. But she SHOULD have great legs, if the bajillion-and-one times she was photographed exiting the gym are to be believed.
Say what you will about her live vocal skills -- and I have, and it is not often complimentary -- but you can't deny she sings her heart out. One of the reasons I like Taylor is that she writes, she plays instruments, and she works hard. The fact that she hasn't spit-shined her voice into something totally new has a pleasant "take me as I am" quality about it. Then again, I'm sort of surprised all these years of performing live haven't toned up that muscle a bit more.
I only threw this in because it reminds me of that scene in "Dirty Dancing" where Baby does the Thumb Mambo because she balked and botched the lift.
I threw THIS in because HELLO TRENCHCOAT.
And this just made me laugh. These people all look FREEZING and then whoever that is on the right looks plain old enraged about it. In my head, she is the person causing the chilly breeze because she hates whatever Amy Robach is wearing under her coat.
