I can't decide if I think she's going to be a credible Miss Hannigan. Carol Burnett, who was perfect and brilliant, was fifty when they shot "Annie." Cameron Diaz is 41, and may read younger on film, so I'm not sure whether they can sell that this woman has ended up running an orphanage -- much less for any extended period of time. Maybe she inherited it. She certainly looks cranky and trashy, so at least there's that.

... Miss Hannigan dancing with them. She kind of looks like a Russian mail-order bride. I'm not sure THAT person ends up running an orphanage in New York either, but if you told me she was going to sing "Little Girls" in a hilariously fake accent I might be amused.
