# Cate Blanchett Seems to Be Wearing New Stuff in Venice

I guess at a certain point, Cate needs to refresh her wardrobe so that she has MORE stuff to rewear later. This is less thrilling to me than[ the gold Armani from the previous day](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/cate-blanchett-deployed-some-re-wears-in-venice-08-2024/), but she did at least add some groovy custom jewelry in the form of a single snake earring. What I can't fully tell is whether this, too, is velvet or velvet-adjacent. There's been a lot of it already. It's early for black velvet, y'all. And yet it's always time for "Black Velvet." I don't make the rules.
