I have not seen that this Armani is a re-wear, but it's GLORIOUS on her. Perfect. She wore that shoulder jewelry just this past May in Cannes, but it seems to be wrangled much better with this dress, AND it plays into the tiered aspect.

Cate wore this last year sometime in London, per her stylist -- hopefully this link goes there -- but we don't have a shot of the whole thing, so I don't know whether there were any changes. I keep thinking elements of the man behind her are part of the outfit. It's not my favorite of hers overall, but her commitment to her archives is awesome.

This is totally appropriate, and FINE, but a bit boring to me. She was the night's big award winner, for her career achievements, and I'd love to have seen her in something more special. But, the good news is, she's Sigourney Weaver, so she's never going to look BAD.
