# Cate Blanchett Has Cut Her Own Bangs*

Voila! [It's fresh-off-the-runway Proenza Schouler](https://www.gofugyourself.com/photos/proenza-schouler-s-s-2023/schouler-po-s23-028-1663716951?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \-- how exciting to see this label on celebs again/at all! -- and I confess that, for a moment, [I thought it was this Enrique Cortazar number,](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/cate-blanchett-begins-her-re-wears-at-venice-in-this-enrique-cortezar-number-from-2015-09-2020/) which she's worn several times previously. It's clearly not, but the looks are definitely related, and perhaps too closely to legally marry. Look, it's cool, it's cool. Cate has a type; most folks do. (Mine is stripes.)

Although, honestly, this seems dangerous if you're a person who talks with their hands. A very high risk of whacking yourself in the face with a sleeve. It's hard to be dignified if you've got a ruffle in the eye.

Pre-bang-trim, Cate also popped by *GMA,* arriving (in the still-dark hours!!) in a sparkly two-piece (!!) which I've decided are actually her pajamas, because I think Cate Blanchett SHOULD sleep in sparkles:
