Anyway, she was emotional, as you might expect, when Chadwick won. This will be a tough gauntlet for her, because he's going to keep winning. I feel for her but she's handling it beautifully.

This is EXTREME NOTED KOOKERY and if you told me that these are her lounging pajamas and that she's holding a Glade Air Freshener pod thing while trying to root out the source of that weird smell in her house, I'd buy it. After the yellow thing last week didn't look so good on the telecast, I'm glad she went BIG.
Carey Mulligan
Carey and Emerald BOTH won for Promising Young Woman, which is exciting. Heats up that Oscar race. I assume this suit does not end in any strange surprises, like pants made of aluminum.
Andra Day in Prada
This is quite cool, actually, but would it be better if the shirt tail/hip scarf trailed more to the side or back? Perhaps that's splitting hairs. Because it's also a neat detail that the ombre on it follows all the way to the hem of the pants.
Amanda Seyfried in Miu Miu
This feels like the look Kaley Cuoco may have wanted out of her D&G. This one is more interesting, but I really feel like dickey-adjacent shirts are pressing for a moment and I would like to say no.

Chloe won for Nomadland -- easily the Oscar favorite at this point -- and I really love that she looks like she called into this while she was camping or something.

She won, also, and was DELIGHTED and surprised. I am only into headbands on a case-by-case basis and this one is RIGHT on the edge for me. It read well on TV, though, where you couldn't see the ENORMOUS bling on the front of her dress.

He looks exactly right. It feels like Dior didn't need to make this because it's all stuff he would've already owned.

Okay TECHNICALLY he belongs in the TV post because he was only part of the telecast, but I thought he made a good button to the proceedings. Chris Hemsworth just wants to look at you. Let him treasure you with his eyeballs, please, as he admires your pandemic hair and telepathically communicates that you look perfect in whatever you are wearing.
