It's not like the erstwhile Cedric Diggory has a long, storied history of immaculate grooming, but for some reason his recent press tour for *High Life* has taken me aback with his aesthetic. It's so... undiggoryfied. I feel like we are at Defcon Slop.

Also, *High Life* \-- a movie for which Zadie Smith originally co-wrote the script, [but dropped out because she and the director agreed on nothing](https://www.vulture.com/2018/10/claire-denis-why-zadie-smith-left-high-life.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \-- is described thusly by Wikipedia: "\[A\] group of criminals who are tricked into believing they will be freed if they participate in a mission to travel on a spaceship towards a black hole to find an alternate energy source, while being sexually experimented on by the scientists on board." So... it's NOT about the Champagne of Beers, then? Pass.
