The mid-aughts are BACK!! Sofia's had this jeans/going out top comb in her closet since approximately 2004 and now it's its time to shine...again. I privately think this is a bit much for a day-time event but she does like to do it up.

On the other hand, I think this is perfect. Chic, interesting, well-accessorized, and practical shoes. (I mean, she IS Naomi Campbell but still. Nailed it!)

This is so refreshingly normal and I am pretty sure I had that top in another colorway from Contempo Casuals way back in the day.

His looks always pop; I love the Vans in general but especially here as a tip to the checked flag.

She eventually took the jacket off and was kicking around in a cute tank that made this all feel a bit more casual; I bet she wishes she'd ALSO worn sneakers. Still - she looks good here and that face never fails her.

McDreamy got to do the checkered flag here -- I look forward to a swift shot of this in Drive to Survive next season, without a chyron, so I can just yell IS THAT DEMPSEY to my husband, who will not know -- and this is exciting for him as a huge racing fan for years. Honestly, they both look great.
