Kumail is tying his shoe here, but this picture just made me laugh. Emily looks great in her Stella.

Alison Brie in Vivienne Westwood

A serious lip for a serious, writer-y event.

Betty Gabriel in Anaya

This originally did not have the belt, and while I get why she added it, I'm not sure if it's better that way.

Greta Gerwig in Proenza Schouler

This has REALLY committed to the concept of RUFFLES.

Rachel Brosnahan in Saint Laurent

Do we think this is too slouchy?

Dee Rees

Dee Rees directed and co-wrote Mudbound, and is the first black woman to be nominated for best adapted screenplay; she is also wearing the hell out of this suit.

Sarah Silverman

Sarah Silverman and Michael Sheen have recently broken up and that IS when you bring out the cleav.

Anna Chlumsky

I love you, Anna, and I wish you would have picked a metallic shoe.

Glenn Close

Very appropriate from Glenn.

Chelsea Peretti, Jordan Peele

Get Out won the top prize at this event, which some people are seeing as an indicator that it might beat 3 Billboards and The Shape of Water at the Oscars next month. I really like this dress on Chelsea -- it's No. 21 and I got a very excited email from ShopBop this morning letting me know that they are currently selling it.

Minnie Driver

I enjoy that Minnie looks as if she's just popping by on her way to another professional obligation.

Rachel Dratch, Tina Fey

These two both look good, and also this is the right place for me to plug Great News, because they're both VERY funny on it. (Rachel plays a sort of faux Kathie Lee Gifford and she is AMAZING.)
