Leaving aside the fact that this doesn't feel very OldR-y -- which has been happening a lot lately -- this looks SO GOOD on her! I get, theoretically, why she wanted color for the ceremony, but this is miles better than the red dress she wore at the awards. She looks terrific.

Carlos Lopez Estrada and Kelly Marie Tran (in Thai Nguyen Atelier)

We somehow didn't see these photos from the red carpet, so I am including them here -- because they did change, as you'll shortly see, and also because I didn't want to neglect to cover this. They look great. Kelly Marie is wearing an ao dai and khan dong, which are traditional Vietnamese garments. The ao dai is "a long, split tunic worn over trousers," although it's hard to see the trousers here. The khan dong is her headpiece. I think she looks gorgeous. The press release from Thai Nguyen said, "The silk satin crepe pant, hand embroidered and beaded tulle lace detachable cape and handed beaded khan dong (headdress) was created by 6 artisans and took over 1400 hours to complete." AMAZING. I don't know how we missed this, but thank you so much to everything who sent up the flare! He also looks sharp, and was nominated for Raya and the Last Dragon, which she is in!

This is also just fantastic. Gotta love a redhead in green; I think she was right to go for the other Gucci to win in, but this is delish.
