Kiki looks like an elegant, horsey kind of lady here, and I promise that's a compliment. I would also like to know if she's owned those jeans since 2004, and is delighted that they've come back into style. Hoarders for the win!
Maggie Gyllenhaal

Maggie, on the other hand, looks like the sort of woman who is extremely concerned about getting too much sun. I feel her.

Carla Bruni looks about 26 years old. (for reference, she is 53.)

I enjoy how many jeans/totes/sneakers/sunglasses we're getting in this collection of celebrities. They're just like etc etc etc.
Virginie Efira

This is EXTREMELY polished, and super appropriate for the occasion. Yes, those are shorts. Yes, I still like this. (Shorts are sometimes appropriate! Getting off a boat in Venice absolutely counts!)
Adriana Lima

Sure, you're telling me this is Adriana Lima, but IS it? Who can say?
Sarah Gadon

This is also v. chic. (Sarah IS a juror this year.) It has a real Cate Blanchett vibe, and isn't that what we're all after anyway? At least some of the time? Certainly when getting off a fancy boat.
