So, this gown -- which was bigger than it looks, and certainly in 1994 felt extra enormous given that it was a time of slip dresses -- apparently took 1,000 hours to make, and had a 20-foot train. And honestly... sure, whatever. It's your wedding. Be big if you want! But it's the headpiece that really sends it into the stratosphere.

And because all THAT wasn't enough, she also wore this fur coat. Look at the SIZE of that SLEEVE. Also why is her bouquet wrapped up in that fabric? To protect it from the cold? Is that the one practical thing here?

In 2000 -- although I keep hearing it referred to as their fifth anniversary? That math does not work -- they renewed their vows at Caesar's Palace in Vegas. And both Celine and Rene were carried in on litters. I found a YouTube video with some of the coverage -- that's where this grainy still is from -- and the looks on the dudes' faces when they put down Rene's litter is amazing. They trade a glance that says, "Are... we done? WTF happens now?" It's at about 1:18 of this clip. After which there's an interview with Celine where she CANNOT get her words out and then insists, "I'M NOT DRUNK!!!"
