That has to be REALLY hard to do to a model, so I'm not sure whether to wring my hands or clap them. Second, I find it hilarious that this slip of a sheath has a built-in cape, like she is some kind of accessory superhero, zipping through New York City and rescuing civilians from things like their paralyzing fear of belts. ## Hilary Rhoda ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2012/06/145722613.jpg) Now, see, unlike Jessica Chastain's gown, this bra-based design is very eye-catching and funky for me. Or maybe it's just a great mate of dress and model; either way, I do not object. And I feel like Rihanna would look good in it. ## Crystal Renn ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2012/06/145730831.jpg) Crystal, to me, is very Young Janice Dickinson. (And the dress is hilariously melodramatic, in a way where I wish Joan Collins were wearing it while verbally dressing-down someone who'd dared to cross her.) She's also kind of an interesting story, given that she really came to prominence recently as having overcome anorexia, settled at a comfortable weight, and succeeding as a plus-size model... at which time she quickly lost all the weight again. I am not casting aspersions on that (she says it was through exercise and I have no reason to doubt that), and WHY she lost it is none of my business, and I support health. But it's a telling commentary on the fashion world that most plus-size models either a) fade into oblivion, or b) drop four dress sizes. ## Jessica Stam ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2012/06/145726952.jpg) This Jason Wu is the sibling of [the pink one Karlie Kloss wore to the Met Gala](https://gofugyourself.com/fug-and-fab-the-models-at-the-met-05-2012/costume-institute-benefit-2?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). I think I like Karlie's better, because the draping gives us more to look at than just the underlay, and also Stammy's styling here is a little nuts. They say that when you darken your hair and have fair skin, often you need to compensate with extra makeup, but I don't think using any old eyebrow pencil is quite what the maxim had in mind. I could find a better color match in a crayon box. ## Shaun White, Erin Wasson ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2012/06/145742352.jpg) I would LOVE for you guys to play fantasy stylist on Wasson here. She APPEARS to have cool shoes on. Personally, I don't mind the blazer, but I'd like to ditch the trousers and try and style up that white robe into something funky and alluring. Right? I mean, it SHOULD be a dress, no? Perhaps if the bodice were not translucent, the filmy skirt would be more effective, but instead it just looks like her gown caught nipplepox. ## Constance Jablonski (with Olivier Theyskens) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2012/06/145737902.jpg) Cute, but a touch informal for the CFDA awards, no? And I'm SO over shoes with platforms that high under the toes. The optical illusion is a tad equine. ## Arizona Muse ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2012/06/145725246.jpg) This is also cute, albeit a touch too short. But what kills me are the shoes. I get the idea here, but they're SUCH banal boots; I want there to be at least SOMETHING unique or interesting about them. Sometimes "bland" fights just as hard against the rest of you as "ornate" does. Also, Arizona reminds me of Alexa Chung meets Keira Knightley, and frankly it makes me wish I knew what THEY would have done with their feet. Alexa probably would've worn flats; Keira is a mystery. But she has a movie coming out soon, so fortunately she'll hit the promo circuit and we can get a reading on her footwear tastes again. I'm actually weirdly excited. Do this job for long enough and you really start to miss the taste of fresh blood. We're like blog vampires, without the trail of the dead.
