You know, she looks great. Clean and simple and THAT FACE and I like her bracelet, and the shoes don't even offend me. Sometimes it's okay to err on the side of boring, especially when you look that good doing it. I should be so lucky as to look that hot-boring.
In this lighting you can see the drape on the dress a bit better. I'm not sure how flattering it necessarily is from the side, though.
And then from some angles you can see some of her chest leaking out, like over on the left there. So, not perfect. But still pretty damn good.
Speaking of keeping it basic and boring and good. The shoes aren't interesting enough, but otherwise, Linda looks so much better than she ever did on Mad Men. Which I know was the point -- she had to pass as the mother of a college kid, and she had a big ol' wig and stuff -- but still, it's probably nice for her to get out and be like, "See? I'm a fox."
It's... a giant homemade potholder and a bra.
Nice lipstick and hair, and pretty detailing, but... do you think Francisco Costa was like, "Could you TRY to sell it, maybe? A LITTLE? PLEASE." Also, I just noticed this slideshow is a progression of shoe clunkyness. Usually Chastain wins that one, and yet here she was practically a minimalist. We're through the looking glass.
