It seems like fine timing indeed that Chanel is putting forth a fair bit of Barbie pink right when its ambassador Margot Robbie is on the verge of a long promo tour for that movie. Gotta keep those wheels greased! Otherwise, this show is the usual: a mix of individual bits that are fine, composite outfits that are cockamamie -- Slide 12 is SO confused about what it is, and where the wearer might be going -- classic Chanel styles that look stodgy, and then stuff that doesn't look like Chanel at *all*, in case anyone shopping for Chanel doesn't actually *want* Chanel. Sigh.
