I have never worn cute patterned pants and a blazer and strappy heels with the perfect pedicure. This sort of ease, sadly, has never been mine. And yet I look at this photo and acutely miss holiday cocktail parties. I want to put a bow on a bottle of Piper and bring it to a friend's house and mingle and feel my feet start to go slightly numb and eat snacks and stay up too late, and I want to do it in this outfit. Maybe 2022 will go my way.
