This was at the premiere of The Crown in London, her first event on behalf of this (or at least the first major one), and... look, it's definitely APT that she dressed in a fabric that almost certainly appears on a throw pillow or a wall or a sofa in Buckingham Palace, but I will take a hard pass on the sleeves, for starters. Also, I keep forgetting she went blonde briefly (for a role). This definitely plays against her QE2 image, but I also thought and STILL think that it's terribly twee and forgettable on her. I like this better than the previous two, but it's not my favorite. I wish it had picked between sleeveless and sleeves, and the collar is bothering me. I am feeling more warmly disposed to it after the passing of time, because the bodice appears to be in the right place. I think my MAIN objection then was the cut of the pants, and the fact that she was a likely winner and this seemed a little lazy? Maybe more on OdlR's part than hers. I don't know.
