Are we doing this? We are? EXCELLENT. See you there." ## Hailee Steinfeld in Elie Saab ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/wenn33644545-1517208910.jpg) Clive Davis and Recording Academy Pre-GRAMMY Gala at the Sheraton New York - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Hailee Steinfeld Where: New York, New York, United States When: 28 Jan 2018 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com What an awesome color on her, but I can't help being so worried that this is giving her a VERY unpleasant wedgie. I still quite like it, though. If you were ever going to belt something over a bathing suit, you could do worse. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/wenn33644555-1517208922.jpg) Clive Davis and Recording Academy Pre-GRAMMY Gala at the Sheraton New York - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Hailee Steinfeld Where: New York, New York, United States When: 28 Jan 2018 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com Watch the buttock, girl. ## Katie Holmes ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/wenn33644824-1517208954.jpg) Clive Davis and Recording Academy Pre-GRAMMY Gala at the Sheraton New York - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Katie Holmes Where: New York, New York, United States When: 28 Jan 2018 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com This is a pretty color on her, but a cut that does nothing. This all somehow makes a slinky dress look frumpy, which is a feat. ## Jourdan Dunn in Zac Posen ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/wenn33645020-1517209037.jpg) Clive Davis and Recording Academy Pre-GRAMMY Gala at the Sheraton New York - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Jourdan Dunn Where: New York, New York, United States When: 28 Jan 2018 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com That is stunning, and I might've done silver shoes. ## Kacey Musgraves ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/wenn33645380-1517209079.jpg) Clive Davis and Recording Academy Pre-GRAMMY Gala at the Sheraton New York - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Kacey Musgraves Where: New York, New York, United States When: 28 Jan 2018 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com I appreciate her willingness to commit to kookery. She looks like she's lining up to be the next Col. Sanders, once Reba is done with it. (Also WHY is Reba doing that.) ## Jennifer Hudson in Rubin Singer ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/wenn33644544-1517208900.jpg) Clive Davis and Recording Academy Pre-GRAMMY Gala at the Sheraton New York - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Jennifer Hudson Where: New York, New York, United States When: 28 Jan 2018 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com This is so close to fantastic. Without those weird patches, it'd be aces. Or are they like those mermaid reversible-sequin pillows where if you run your hands over them, they change direction? Can we write messages on her dress? ## Monica ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/627312453fe-1517209151.jpg) \-New York, NY - 20180127 2018 Pre-GRAMMY Gala and GRAMMY Salute to Industry Icons presented by Clive Davis and The Recording Academy -PICTURED: Monica -PHOTO by: JOHN NACION/startraksphoto.com This is an editorial, rights-managed image. A skirt over pants? A half-pleated tunic? You're puzzling me, madam. Now please go write a book all about Matt Lauer with Ann Curry ## Bebe Rexha in Naeem Khan ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/wenn33644817-1517208942.jpg) Clive Davis and Recording Academy Pre-GRAMMY Gala at the Sheraton New York - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Bebe Rexha Where: New York, New York, United States When: 28 Jan 2018 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com She was sweetly excited about finally being at the Grammys, which made me feel sorry that I still don't know anything she sings, and that I keep forgetting to look it up. The horrors of this dress will not help. The detailing on the front evokes a very high-waisted thong. ## Faith Evans ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/wenn33645015-1517209027.jpg) Clive Davis and Recording Academy Pre-GRAMMY Gala at the Sheraton New York - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Faith Evans Where: New York, New York, United States When: 28 Jan 2018 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com Silver lining: It's not sheer pants, which was my first thought. ## Winnie Harlow in August Getty ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/wenn33645367-1517209068.jpg) Clive Davis and Recording Academy Pre-GRAMMY Gala at the Sheraton New York - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Winnie Harlow Where: New York, New York, United States When: 28 Jan 2018 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com That is basically underpants in a bag. ## Julia Michaels ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/wenn33645021-1517209047.jpg) Clive Davis and Recording Academy Pre-GRAMMY Gala at the Sheraton New York - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Julia Michaels Where: New York, New York, United States When: 28 Jan 2018 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com That might be sneaky-sheer in the skirt region. But although she's a longtime songwriter, her solo career exploded this year, so at least it's a thematically explosive dress. ## Camila Cabello in Ester Abner ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/wenn33645009-1517209016.jpg) Clive Davis and Recording Academy Pre-GRAMMY Gala at the Sheraton New York - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Camila Cabello Where: New York, New York, United States When: 28 Jan 2018 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com This is not nearly as ebullient as she proved to be at the actual Grammys. ## Cassie in Paule Ka ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/wenn33645030-1517209057.jpg) Clive Davis and Recording Academy Pre-GRAMMY Gala at the Sheraton New York - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Cassie Where: New York, New York, United States When: 28 Jan 2018 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com This is empirically ridiculous but I also kind of like it on her. ## Ne-Yo ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/wenn33645008-1517209006.jpg) Clive Davis and Recording Academy Pre-GRAMMY Gala at the Sheraton New York - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Ne-Yo Where: New York, New York, United States When: 28 Jan 2018 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com Is he ever NOT both chipper and dapper?
