I want to like this -- she does look fetching in it -- but I am having trouble engendering any feelings about it in the pro OR con categories. The design makes it look like she's having a Planetarium show projected onto her trunk. I LIKE Planetarium shows, so maybe that's a positive. Double bonus if Orion's Belt were to double as HER belt.
The emperor has no bodice.
That's very pretty. SHE is very pretty. She might have bested the Britton in this one.
Shiny wrapping-paper gowns are all the rage. But SHE looks kind of great TOO. Maybe SHE won.
Little Maisy looks like a cross between Clare Bowen and Kiernan Shipka, in an adorable way. And Lennon is basically wearing hot pants with a drape. Oh, Lennon. "Hot Pants With A Drape" sounds like a really informal Mad Men Halloween costume of some kind.
He is the world's most dashing electrocuted man.
I miss Deacon singing on the show. One of Nashville's many problems this season is that it sacrificed the parts we love for story, and didn't find other things to love to fill the void. So yeah, it's a great story that Deacon's hand is damaged, in theory, but we need something to cling to until he can play and sing again, because we LOVE soulful Deacon.
I WOULD enjoy a pairing of these two, though. Gunnar and Deacon, singing songs about how mystifying Scarlett is to them. Perfect.
