This is pretty. I wish it hadn't just occurred to me that the red beading on the red dress rather make her look as if something had splashed all over her. Maybe she's covered in the detritus of FABULOUS.

The side view, and the beading, on this dress reminded me of the Way Sidebooby frock Dakota Fanning wore in Venice, and it turns out they are both Elie Saab. It's not totally surprising that T Swift went more demure than D. Fan -- although maybe a little bit, given that I think Taylor is trying to age up more aggressively than Dakota is (not in a bad way, just being factual).

I do think the back is sweepingly fantastic and very appealing. In fact, overall, I think Taylor looks fairly fab in this. Write a song about THAT, Taylor.
