[Operation Mincemeat](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation%5FMincemeat?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) is, as best I can tell, a bit like if you combined *Weekend at Bernie's* with World War II. It's the true story of a British attempt to disguise their plans to free Sicily by taking a dead homeless man, dressing him as an officer of some ilk, and "hiding" intelligence on his person. It seems like they're preeeetty sure it helped? And now it's a movie starring Colin Firth, which is pretty much a happy ending to every story.
