Also, I know there is a contingent that thinks I am universally anti-bangs, and I PROMISE that is not true, but... seriously, Melissa's bangs are not great on her, right? This looks like a wig, and if it's her real hair, it shouldn't; if it is a wig, hooray, have fun, kick up your heels, and then let's get back to it. I love bangs in theory, and I freely admit that my aversion to them is likely a fear of change, but... I cannot sign off on wrongheaded bangs.

Azie is on Supergirl as a love interest for Chyler Leigh (for the millionth time, let's applaud The CW for its work with representation, none of which it is bragging about; it's just quietly doing it). I like her on the show, although she's quite new to it. I hope we can journey together toward better slits and shoes.

Nicole is SUPER on Supergirl. She's the first transgender superhero on TV, and not for nothing, she's also damn impressive as a person. Ahem, Wikipedia: "She was the anonymous plaintiff, Susan Doe, in the Maine Supreme Judicial Court case Doe v. Regional School Unit 26 regarding gender identity and bathroom use in schools.[6] Maines, who is transgender, was barred from using the female bathroom after a complaint; however, the court ruled denying a transgender student access to the bathroom consistent with their gender identity is unlawful." Do I love the outfit? No, but who cares.
