Julia Ormond, Madchen Amick, Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Rachel Boston

Julia Ormond did not get a solo shot and I suspect it's because this photographer was like, "oh, girl. Just jeans? Go inside and have a beer." I love you, Julia Ormond, even if I sometimes get you confused with Juliette Binoche and want to ask you what it was like to get to make out with Sayid when you were both in The English Patient and if you're wondering why I've mentioned The English Patient like six times in the last three weeks, it's because it's streaming on Netflix now and I like to watch it so I can despair.

Her FACE looks great, but I feel like the rest of her deserves a dress that does something for her. That said, she is surprisingly adept on this show. (I love Step Up as much as anyone, but it's not like it was an acting tour de force, even from actually good actors.)

I have harbored a fondness for Rachel Boston since American Dreams, and those are shoes only in the most technical sense. Props to her for pulling out the big guns in the form of Alberta Ferretti, though.

And finally. I hate almost everything about how this was styled, from her shoes to her jewelry, but: She is SO GOOD on this show. Listen, I loved her on Twin Peaks, too, but this is really the best part she's ever had and it pleases me.

Comic-Con Fabs and Fines: The Cast of The Witches of East End
In the interest of full disclosure, I might just be writing about this event because I really like this show and I want to talk about it. Sure, last week involved a kind of confusing journey into...I'm actually not even sure. Another dimension or something, where everyone wears togas. Maybe I shouldn't have tried to read the Prince George Vanity Fair throughout that scene...but on the whole, it's powerfully entertaining and everyone has fabulously tousled hair, plus all the dudes are cute and often take off their shirts.
