Sarah Paulson in vintage Chanel

I remain unmoved by this hair situation -- Sarah has done this look on her head more than once now and it's never been my jam -- but this dress is VERY cool. It's early Chanel, when Karl Lagerfeld had just joined the fashion house, and it's both visually very right for her, and of course a very appropriate homage.

This is stunning on her -- I don't totally love the pin at the waist, but that's an ABSURD nitpick -- and her hair is what I always want my hair to do but it will not.

This feels like an offering to the gods for spring to arrive ASAP.

I love her -- she's on an ad for CBS All Access that I see on my CBS Normal Access and am regularly transfixed by; she is SO PRETTY -- but this look is...a bit Pregnant Creamsicle for me.

Glenn Close

Glenn Close looks like Glenn Close but mostly you should know that following Glenn Close on Instagram has been a treat.

Kate Walsh

She was the host of this event, and this look answers the question: Can ruffles be funereal? (Having said that: I am rewatching old Grey's Anatomy episodes and she is SO GOOD on it, and I need her to get a new job on one of my many stories. People who did not watch it in real time do not even understand how INTENSE it was when she arrived at Whatever The Hospital Was Called Then and McDreamy was all, "that's my wife." IT WAS INTENSE!)

Christina Hendricks in Tadashi Shoji

Sure! This works! She and Shoji seem like a good match, as he has a history of working well with a lady's ample bosom.

Leslie Grossman

This is very charming! Also: everyone's hair looked great at this event. It does stand to reason that the hair people would want to give the costume people their best, as they're all in there together.

Billie Lourd in Markarian

This is fun.

Judith Light

Judith really lives her life in all caps.

Halle Berry in Sebastian Gunawan

She didn't walk the red carpet, which is a shame, because this dress is really interesting and good, and a welcome change from Halle's usual. Wouldn't it be fun if Halle Berry went a bit avant gard on us?
