I want Diane Kruger to marry Pacey SO BADLY now.

This has such a lovely, vintage feel to it, but could veer toward nightgown on the wrong body -- like, at first, I was going to say you might put an Ellen Page in this, but I think it would eat her alive. I could see Nina Dobrev getting hitched in it, or Shailene Woodley drifting by looking dreamy in her topknot. Or looking 12 with her hair down.

This feels quite royal.

Okay, but for a gown that's essentially see-through or purports to be, how FRUMPY is this? If Camilla Parker Bowles and J.Lo merged, they'd wear this.

I'm not sure anyone will wear this, for a while -- too close to a combo of Gwynnie's Oscars Tom Ford and Hathaway's Globes Chanel.
Well, it feels like J.Lo has worn every other variation on this theme; why not this one too? Might as well be a completist, eh?
It would crack me up if Jennifer Garner wore this. Actually, if anyone did. It's so... out there. Naomi Watts should just throw caution to the wind.

Hmm. Would we be mad at the likes of Julianne Hough if she wore this? I think not.

Hmm. You could line that sucker and put it on, say, Sally Field. Especially if it were navy. She likes navy. I think. Shh, I actually have no idea.

Elle Fanning? Or, like, Thandie Newton. Those are two very different people, I realize.
This is, to me, too Marchesa for words.
Again with the Marchesa-esque. It's sort of the world's loveliest diagram of venereal disease.
Very beautiful, very demure. Do we think... Alba? Theoretically. I'm not sure she's getting an Oscars invitation, and this isn't really post-party material.
This is like the "before" photo for the above dress.

And there also here for your consideration. I don't really know how I feel about them, and we have ever so many dresses left, so: You're on, Fug Nation. Feel it for me.

Other than a wedding, where DOES one wear this? But if you lopped off the sleeves and took it floor-length, it could attract a Mila Kunis or a Lea Michele, or somesuch. Although, WITH the sleeves and a long skirt, I can suddenly somehow see Rachel McAdams in it.

So lovely.

... Lily Collins?
Something about the retro/vintage sleeves on this has me thinking Rose Byrne.
This is the nippleacious version of the peachy/beige one from earlier. Still love the overall theme, but I am obviously not keen on areolas for spring.
This is another one I could see on Charlize or Kristen Stewart, although K.Stew would want it in an edgier color, perhaps.
Chastain? It'd certainly be unusual at the Oscars, but it'll be hard to top her McQueen from last year, so she might as well take a big swing. My fear is that if this fits badly on the MODEL'S chest... you can end that sentence however you choose.

This is the sorceress version of that dress.

Like this color. Although the squiggles of it on the shoulders look like veins, which is a wee on-point if you've just done five vampire movies.
Let's say Freida Pinto. Has she worn much red lately? She could be due.

This would be a very dignified choice on, say, Rachel Weisz.
And her husband Daniel Craig could don this to coordinate.

I could see Jennifer Lawrence deciding this was a blend of edgy and girly that fits her whole aura.

Holy shit. I can't even. Seriously, did Georgina Chapman take over this company?
