So crazy elegant. If Hathaway had worn THAT pink gown at last year's Oscars... well, she would be outed as a time-traveller, for one thing. But for another, it's a basic cut that's done SO MUCH BETTER.
I'm loving the little gold leaf belt on everything. This is so good. I'm probably too old for something like this and yet it's making me want to put it on and twirl all over town and represent the Lullaby League and welcome people to Munchkin Land.
This version is ALSO nifty.
Picture Naomie Harris in this. And then cry with YAY.
Or in this. Rose Byrne would also look good in that, with a red lip, if she's got her darker brown hair.
I am rather in love with this as well. I'll take three. I can blog in that, right? It can handle my sandwiches, RIGHT?
Why DON'T I find that twee? It might be the effect Drew Barrymore WANTED to hit wt the Globes, but didn't. It's nifty.
I don't usually love the nude look, but somehow this version is captivating.
It SORT OF looks like she's molting on her sternum, but it's still stunning.
This version is even MORE molty, though. Great color, but there is a keyhole where there need not be one.
Well. You know my stance on lots of tulle. But I'm not THAT mad at it right now.
Lots of Yes.
I mean, how insane would J.Lo be in this? It would suit any number of glamorous celebs, but she'd be devastating in it precisely because it's not quite what she usually picks.
Ms. Lo should also investigate this. I love this. She looks like a mad-foxy zebra without actually having animal heads drawn all over it (ahem, Valentino).
J.Lo might be more likely to wear this, though. Which isn't awful, and is very High Priestess in a way that I think she'd appreciate.
There will always be some kind of iridescent jumpsuit in every show. I've had to come to terms with it.
That's achingly lovely if you are one of those ladies who has four costume changes at her own wedding, and needs something for the cake-cutting/running out to the limo portion of the evening.
This isn't going away anytime soon, either, sadly. I guess they do still have to play to the touring-musician demographic -- as in, 'We can be AS NAKED AS YOU WANT."
So intricate.
Listen, it'll need hoiking up, but it's pretty. Hoik, everyone. HOIK.
Fancyyyyyyyyyyy.
Brought to you by the letter V and the number WOO.
I have a suspicion this one will make the rounds somewhere. I'm not sure how I feel about it -- artistically cool, but perhaps practically bonkers -- so we'll see.
And I LOVE a wedding gown, as you know. All this is making me want to go to a ball.
