This dress has surprisingly current vibes to it. Was Piper 20 years ahead of her time on dramatic sleeve-capes?!? I just wish the pattern were a bit more bewitching.

He was so cute. His textured blazer is pretty groovy, too, but we need to discuss that I think his date's dress ALSO feels like something you'd see today, as does his interesting jacket. So many forward thinkers.

Tyra's character in the movie quits the bar at the beginning -- creating a vacancy for Piper to fill -- because she's going to college, or grad school, or somesuch, and Tyra is nothing if not costumey, so I feel like she's dressing in character here.

She went through a prolonged low-rise pants period after this -- she's one of those people who shows up at a lot of things and I never know why? -- so I'm thankful this is as good as it is.

She will not be embarrassed to have this hauled out of the vault, which is really all you can ask of photo from 2000.

She won't be embarrassed, either, except perhaps by the purse choice. It must be said: Her boobs look great in this.

... ONE SHEERISH LEG??? Oh, child.

What Diane didn't know is that she would be on a Lucci-esque Oscar drought at the time of this flashback post. What she DID likely know is that she wouldn't win one for this movie.

It took me a second to clock that those are boots.

She did at least match them to her leather jacket. And she was not the only one into caramel leather outerwear...

For once, Justin seems to be trying to direct attention elsewhere, likely because Joey has on sheer sleeves that demand to be noticed.

Oh, JT. Just... oh.

Not a shirt. Not. A shirt.

And a million fanfics were born.

Carrie-Anne is still married to this dude! Way to go, go, you two. (It's been 21 years.)

Speaking of people who are still married.
