Constance as a HUMAN looks very Major Movie Star, but I'd be lying if I said I liked the dress. The top is like the anti-hoik: It comes up so high that it almost makes it look like she's hunching into it, and the tassels look like she is at her graduation getting ten of the same degree.

This, however, is AMAZING and Gemma looks divine. The purse is a bit incongruous with it, though; I wonder if she knew the premiere's color scheme? It's an uncanny match to THAT, at least.

I like this a lot, and might have liked it more if we lopped off the bottom two ruffles.

This is REALLY good on her. I think this was the most straight-up glam thing she had worn at this point, and she accessorized it so well.

She changed into a more navigable party dress later, and it looks like something out of a Bold and the Beautiful fashion show.

This dress is appropriately dramatic for the on-screen Kitty Pong, but the neckline is obscuring her great necklace. I want to see more of THAT, and less of the lucite shoes.

And now perhaps less of so many things.

This is, she said, "a modern take on the Cheongsam in Singapore colors to represent my home," and was custom-made there. I wish "modern" didn't always seem to equate with "nakeder."

Creative and glorious.

That skirt is a dream.

SHIBS! Maia's dress is VERY pretty.

I look forward to seeing more of him in the someday-eventual sequels. The shoes and tie are absolutely snazzing up the suit.

I can't tell if his suit quite fits. He also leaned really hard into the cream-and-white thing, which is not my favorite.

If I were going to do it, I'd do it this way, with a minimum of beige.

I likewise would not go for blue and black in this manner, but at least people are trying things.

Dreamy.

Hoik it! Can someone take some of Constance's bodice height and donate it here?

She looks like a fabulously gossipy socialite who has SEEN SOME THINGS and will also give you her earrings if you like them.

This looks like Google Street Maps by way of a Mondrian. That's also maybe a compliment?

This is a great compromise when you're not in the movie but you still want to make it clear you care.

Her outfit is easily one of my favorites. Again, I appreciate that Henry tried, but I am not at all sold on that jacket color.

AHA but he made up for it here. I rarely like the no-sock look on dudes, though, and I feel like Henry Golding is someone who could play a really personable sock game.

That jacket might need to be undone, but she is terribly chic and cool.

I like all these elements on their own -- blouse, skirt, shoes -- but not together.

And here, a perfect ending.
