I feel like Clea DuVall is such a good all-purpose crazy person that I totally forgot she is in Argo, because she plays someone normal in it. Anyway, I don't love all the horizontal lines chopping up her torso here; something about it just gave me weirdo flashbacks to Liesl's pink dress when she sings "Sixteen Going On Seventeen" in the gazebo and then kisses the Nazi.

I guess this lady has been on pretty much everything -- from VH-1 to Chelsea Lately to Fox News Channel -- but my very favorite part about her Wikipedia page is this: "She changed her name around 2002 and has not revealed her birth name." My vote is for Busty von Keyhole.

AGAIN WITH THE REVERSE AGING. I almost didn't notice the nightie. Almost.

I can't decide what I think about those lacy cutouts. Part of me thinks they're terrible and part of me thinks they're flattering on her, and also, SHE'S 49. I mean, she doesn't look 24, but still, that is more good aging right there. I really need to start eating salads or something.
SIXTY-SIX. WTF. Although my mother is older than Sally Field and also still looks great -- her skin is awesome; she gave up Diet Coke at some point and drinks water and wine, basically, and I should probably take that as some kind of sign except I don't want to -- but... what are we here to talk about again? Oh, right: This is fine. The waist might be a tad dropped for her, but I love the color, and I can't wait to see what she busts out on Sunday. I hope she goes full Mary Todd Lincoln.
This is gorgeous.
Doesn't need the tights, doesn't need the lacy neckline, but I like the sparkles. I do enjoy, also, that Melissa Leo always seems to be having the BEST time.
I was torn at first -- the color and texture of this struck me as Super Fancy Foil Leftovers, but the longer I stared at it, the more it just seemed flat-out fun and funky. And she is selling the hell out of it.

I wish this went all the way down to the floor.

And I really can't decide if those are cool, or crazy. I keep expecting her to turn back around and reveal that those aren't straps, but the arms of one of those long stuffed monkeys whose hands velcro together so you can make it hug you.

She always looks so freaking classy. The bangs might be hiding her awesome face a little bit, but that's nitpicking. I love her. I just IMDb'd her and saw she has six projects coming up, too, which makes me so happy.

"Hi, everyone, it's me, Academy Award nominated director Ben Affleck. ... JUST KIDDING, YOU RAT BASTARDS. Yeah, you. That's right. You know who you are. Just for that I'm not f'ing shaving for the Oscars. YOU HEARD ME."
