I couldn't decide WHERE to file this heinous affront to cloth, but the Miu Miu press release called it blue, so... Personally, I have a lot of other adjectives in mind, and I would love to deploy them. But obviously Cinderella's mice are RAGINGLY hung over this morning and probably will be for much of the next week, so perhaps that's punishment enough.

Demi Moore in Schiaparelli

First, Schiaparelli gave Beyonce a dress whose underwire poked out and stabbed her, and then it handed Demi something that looks at least half a size too small. That's a woeful one-two punch for Daniel Roseberry, whose shop is usually so precise.

As she moved around in this, I really did fret that she'd fly out of it.

It's not even a treat from the back, either. NOTHING about this looks fun to wear, nor a joy to behold. What a bummer.

Adrien Brody in Dior

He certainly seems on track to win an Oscar; he won on this night AND won the Globe.

Cristin Milioti in Saint Laurent

She was SO stoked to win. She mouthed HOLY SHIT. And then needed considerable help up the stairs AND tugged the left side of her gown up a bunch. Feels like something she picked not thinking she actually had to move in it.

Rufus Sewell

Oh, Hal Wyler, you handsome scamp. Everyone watch The Diplomat! It's low commitment; only 14 episodes total, I think. But with a third season coming, and Allison Janney joined in season two and was AWESOME.

Sean Baker

Anora winning Best Picture was a fun surprise -- I realize that an overall win doesn't mean any one particular craftsman involved was also the best, but it did make me laugh that it won NOTHING else but was named the best movie. Congrats to Sean.

Dakota Fanning

This dress gets better as we get to the end. Boobs Bursting Forth and then visible boning are never that compelling for me.

Allison Tolman

What a gorgeous color. She got stuck presenting with Chase Stokes, who didn't seem that thrilled to be there; their bit was silly but she COMMITTED. (I like her so much.)
