CTAOP Event

Charlize in Dior

This is like the grown-up version of the exact aesthetic she wore to the F9 premiere. That one felt like Sorority Girl's Night Out and this one is like Foxy Mogul's Summer Bash. Also I like her short hair better than when she wears it longer -- do we think that other one was a wig/extensions, or just Covid length she hadn't trimmed? -- but unfortunately THIS style just looks greasy.)

But yes. It's a skort. Right?

Todd Gurley

I love Todd's shoes. He looks like the captain of a really well-dressed bowling team.

January Jones

Cute shoes. I am not wild about this slate of dresses that reach around the waist and tie in the front like that. For me that would just feel AND look bulky.

Thuso Mbedu

That's a lot of needless ties, too, but not as bad -- and how cute is she?

Jessica and David Oyelowo

These two are usually so well dressed, but I'm not entirely sure ANYTHING David is wearing fits him properly. Well, the shoes, probably, but that's it.

Lilly Singh

I am also, as ever, trying to figure out what the weather was, as we have a combination of leather and heavy fabrics and sundresses and party frocks.

Seth Rogen

"Admit it, you're DYING to ask me if pottery is anything like it is in Ghost."

Jordana Brewster

This is simple and faultless and also would have looked nice on Charlize.

Kate Beckinsale

Kate looks like she overdressed for the party, and is now waiting for her Uber while desperately trying not to betray how much her feet hurt.

Connie Britton

Tami Taylor seemed to have a better grasp on the formality of this thing.

Vin Diesel

And Vin Diesel arrived, dressed as Vin Diesel.

Paris Jackson

Speaking of painful-looking shoes. Paris Jackson is also extremely lovely, and this confusing sack is just all wrong for her.

Taika Waititi

"AM I messy? Yes, probably."

AND it was a Diet Coke event. I knew you were on Team Excellence, Charlize. But I mostly downloaded this photo in case anyone needs some new drink ideas. SERVICE JOURNALISM, don't you know.
