Normally, I'd be suggesting she Pick a Sleeve, but she DID. It's just hanging there at her hips, because this dress involves a very constructed Unwearing of a Jacket. It's pretty amazing. 

You can see the other half of her jacket better here, sprouting from her hip. This is, obviously, quite insane. But, as ever, one grades the Met Gala with a different set of rules. When else can you wear a dress that includes a shoulder growing out of your leg? Exactly.

Honestly, I think this is extremely cool. And I dare someone to wear it at her wedding.
