# Cynthia Erivo Went Slightly Witchy for Her Investiture

Cynthia Erivo was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire this week, and decided to dress like your slightly scary and VERY chic French headmistress, a choice that I frankly support. "Slightly scary, very chic, and French" is a vibe.

That photo I chose gives you a good look at her -- custom Givenchy -- outfit, but I did commit a grievous sin in that it obscures her Stephen Jones hat. Which is charming! I love the way the tilt of the hat matches the flare of her jacket. Very thoughtful and pleasantly dramatic.
