Gwyneth Paltrow

I assume this is Valentino, as it looks like kin to the one Samara Weaving just wore (which incidentally I called "the poop emoji's glam stepmother," and Gwyneth IS the original Poop Emoji so that tracks.) At least GOOP's pants look less... crunchy... but this is so limp and blah. EDITED TO ADD: Apparently it's G.Label, so she's just knocking off Valentino now.

Brie Larson in Rodarte

This is a nice, sparkly take on the half-nighties Rodarte has been churning out lately. (Brie was their guest; they won designer of the year, or somesuch.) I think from Brie's face you can start to detect a little of the weather-related flush and/or glow.

Elle Fanning

Elle's is by FAR the most dramatic. She looks miserable. I HAVE to assume that is heat misery and not the actual makeup look they wanted? Get this girl in front of a fan. (Also, what she's doing with the blouse is what I think we all would do with it all night, which is a great argument against wearing it. She looks like a pirate who made a blouse out of an old sail.

Meghann Fahy in Valentino

This is ALSO Valentino, and if she's laughing, surely it's at the notion of anyone "designing" something that slight. It might as well be Delia's.

I wouldn't have taken off the coat. Even in the heat. (Her head looks amazing though.)

She looks like she's in disguise, and indeed, I didn't recognize her right away.

This is another one where I truly can't tell if her head is doing exactly what they planned, or whether it's wilted from the heat. The makeup is AGGRESSIVE.

That's not a BODICE, or a bra, so much as... a corral.

Christine Quinn

She's doing a darker eyebrow, and I'm not sure it quite suits her. In general I would love to completely revamp her, starting with some scissors.
