The WGA and the AMPTP [reportedly have agreed to sit down this week](https://deadline.com/2023/08/writers-strike-wga-amptp-plot-path-back-towards-negotiating-table-1235452614/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) to discuss when they might be able to sit down and discuss this, which feels Kafka-esque. But, hopefully when they actually do sit down to discuss the stuff that REALLY NEEDS DISCUSSING, they'll be closer together. In deal terms, not physically, although hell, sit in each other's laps consensually if it helps, I don't care. Meanwhile, more big names are coming out to march, including Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, Lucy Liu, BAKULA, and Patricia Clarkson. All people we would like to see together again at a fancy-dress party, but for now, we will take your strikewear.
