Tilda Swinton is also in this movie -- you'll see her wardrobe shortly -- and I enjoy how much she looks like a proud parent here. (This wave from Dakota also proves that her strapless gown fits her very well. It's not going anywhere.)

This is just...really good. It hits that perfect summery note without being too casual, and it looks so easy. (I also want to take a photo of her head to my hair maestro, but I think I would regret those bangs on my own head.)

This is ALSO great. It's a pleasure to see a Dior gown that's eschewed branded granny panties or Joe Boxer straps. It's just simple, but still dramatic.

I had a dress vaguely like this, a million years ago, and I donated it with the (correct) thought that I didn't need a strapless red gown anymore, but this is making me miss it. I think Maria Grazzia Chiurri is going to be very good for Dior.
