(Photo by John Byrum/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images) This is the oldest of the photos I amassed from the last few seasons; we'll go in chronological order. Coach likes a sweatshirt and a cardigan and a jacket, and we'll have fun with all three. I enjoy her ink splotches here. She's lively without being a crackpot. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/04/GettyImages-1443342672-1712624229.jpg) PALO ALTO, CALIFORNIA - NOVEMBER 20: Head coach Dawn Staley of the South Carolina Gamecocks wears a shirt that states "We are BG" in support of Brittney Griner during an NCAA women's basketball game against the Stanford Cardinal at Stanford Maples Pavilion on November 20, 2022 in Palo Alto, California. Griner a player for the Phoenix Mercury of the Women's National Basketball Association currently imprisoned in Russia. (Photo by Thearon W. Henderson/Getty Images) Her support for Brittney Griner is really touching. And more than Mulkey did, and Mulkey was Brittney's coach. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/04/GettyImages-1246843011-1712624272.jpg) HARTFORD, CT - FEBRUARY 05: South Carolina Gamecocks head coach Dawn Staley reacts during the women's college basketball game between South Carolina Gamecocks and UConn Huskies on February 5, 2023, at XL Center in Hartford, CT. (Photo by M. Anthony Nesmith/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images) She's also apparently an Eagles fan, which makes sense, as she's from Philly. This photo is in here because it provides useful context... ## Feb 2023 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/04/GettyImages-1247095882-1712624249.jpg) COLUMBIA, SC - FEBRUARY 12: Head coach Dawn Staley of the South Carolina Gamecocks signals her team prior to their game against the LSU Tigers at Colonial Life Arena on February 12, 2023 in Columbia, South Carolina. South Carolina won 88-64\. (Photo by Lance King/Getty Images) ... to this one, and one other one I decided not to download, where she had on a green jersey. I love that this from afar looks like she threw on the jersey with her PJ pants. (Eventually you notice the cargo pockets.) Jersey and Pajamas is my uniform on many a Saturday. ## 2023 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/04/GettyImages-1246402641-1712624260.jpg) COLUMBIA, SC - JANUARY 15: South Carolina Gamecocks head coach Dawn Staley during a women's college basketball game between the Missouri Tigers and the South Carolina Gamecocks on January 15, 2023, at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, S.C. (Photo by John Byrum/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images) A'Ja Wilson was one of Coach Staley's players, and went No. 1 in the 2018 draft to the Las Vegas Aces. Wilson won the natty in 2017 with Staley, and has since won Olympic gold and consecutive WNBA titles in 2022 and 2023\. I love that Dawn Staley wears her on a sweatshirt. That's love. And not for nothing, it gives the WNBA some extra promotion. ## South Carolina v Tennessee ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/04/GettyImages-1469281204-1712624239.jpg) KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE - FEBRUARY 23: Head coach Dawn Staley of the South Carolina Gamecocks stands on the sidelines against the Tennessee Lady Vols in the third quarter at Thompson-Boling Arena on February 23, 2023 in Knoxville, Tennessee. (Photo by Eakin Howard/Getty Images) Coach also uses her platform for messaging. In addition to this fantastic jacket, the shirt promotes the National Marrow Donation Program, which is now just known as NMDP. (I think "Be the Match" was also a former name.) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/04/GettyImages-1986407929-1712624182.jpg) COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA - FEBRUARY 04: Head coach Dawn Staley of the South Carolina Gamecocks looks on against the Ole Miss Rebels during their game at Colonial Life Arena on February 04, 2024 in Columbia, South Carolina. (Photo by Jacob Kupferman/Getty Images) This is one of her few weird errors... it's like Moth-Eaten Mulkey. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/04/GettyImages-2006243163-1712624142.jpg) KNOXVILLE, TN - FEBRUARY 15: South Carolina Gamecocks head coach Dawn Staley coaches during the women's college basketball game between the Tennessee Lady Vols and the South Carolina Gamecocks on February 15, 2024, at Food City Center in Knoxville, TN. (Photo by Bryan Lynn/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images) And another one! She must really love this concept and/or got a very generous shipment of them to her house. Does anyone know to whom the shirt pays tribute? ## 2023 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/04/GettyImages-1471044268-1712624219.jpg) GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA - MARCH 03: Head coach Dawn Staley of the South Carolina Gamecocks reacts to a call against the Arkansas Razorbacks in the third quarter during the quarterfinals of the SEC Women's Basketball Tournament at Bon Secours Wellness Arena on March 03, 2023 in Greenville, South Carolina. (Photo by Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images) Similar, but different. I REALLY like it. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/04/GettyImages-1478617726-1712624207.jpg) DALLAS, TEXAS - MARCH 31: Head coach Dawn Staley of the South Carolina Gamecocks calls to her team during the second half against the Iowa Hawkeyes during the 2023 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament Final Four semifinal game at American Airlines Center on March 31, 2023 in Dallas, Texas. (Photo by Ron Jenkins/Getty Images) Her team lost to Iowa in this game -- last year's semifinal -- and she's KINDA wearing Iowa colors, which feels like it might've been a curse. I like it though. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/04/GettyImages-1996272846-1712624161.jpg) COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA - FEBRUARY 11: Head coach Dawn Staley of the South Carolina Gamecocks reacts following a foul call against her team during the game against the UConn Huskies at Colonial Life Arena on February 11, 2024 in Columbia, South Carolina. SC won 83-65\. (Photo by Lance King/Getty Images) That is... some pretty ugly graffiti. No one is perfect. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/04/GettyImages-1890717007-1712624172.jpg) GREENVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA - DECEMBER 30: Head coach Dawn Staley of the South Carolina Gamecocks looks on during their game against the East Carolina Lady Pirates in Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum on December 30, 2023 in Greenville, North Carolina. SC won 73-36\. (Photo by Lance King/Getty Images) The prophet Dawn Staley speaks through a t-shirt! The women delivered SUCH fantastic games this year and it's a real delight to see it being covered so sharply. ESPN's desk team for the tourney was super. ## Tennessee v South Carolina ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/04/GettyImages-2056671625-1712624152.jpg) COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA - MARCH 03: Head coach Dawn Staley of the South Carolina Gamecocks looks on during their game against the Tennessee Lady Vols at Colonial Life Arena on March 03, 2024 in Columbia, South Carolina. (Photo by Jacob Kupferman/Getty Images) Here we have a similar but not identical cardi, with the team logo, and then an AWESOME t-shirt with her team on it. ## in Gucci ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/04/GettyImages-2076698321-1712624131.jpg) GREENVILLE, SC - MARCH 09: South Carolina Gamecocks head coach Dawn Staley during the SEC Women's Basketball Tournament between the Tennessee Volunteers and the South Carolina Gamecocks March 9, 2024 at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, S.C. (Photo by John Byrum/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images) That is a COMFY-looking cable knit. (It's Gucci; it had better be.) ## in Louis Vuitton ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/04/GettyImages-2123486587-1712624109.jpg) ALBANY, NEW YORK - MARCH 29: Head coach Dawn Staley of the South Carolina Gamecocks reacts during the first half against the Indiana Hoosiers in the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament at MVP Arena on March 29, 2024 in Albany, New York. (Photo by Sarah Stier/Getty Images) This is from Pharrell's Minecraft collection, as I call it, and she makes it look better than anyone else who's tried it (though those are not large numbers). ## in Gucci ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/04/GettyImages-2128069715-1712624119.jpg) ALBANY, NEW YORK - MARCH 31: Head coach Dawn Staley of the South Carolina Gamecocks reacts during the second half against the Oregon State Beavers in the Elite 8 round of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament at MVP Arena on March 31, 2024 in Albany, New York. (Photo by Andy Lyons/Getty Images) Staley also matches her shoes to her outfits. She's a head-to-toe person, it seems, whenever possible. ## in Louis Vuitton ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/04/GettyImages-2133952505-1712624097.jpg) CLEVELAND, OHIO - APRIL 5: Head coach Dawn Staley of the South Carolina Gamecocks looks on against the NC State Wolfpack during the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament Final Four semifinal game at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on April 5, 2024 in Cleveland, Ohio. (Photo by Ben Solomon/NCAA Photos via Getty Images) Shout-out to Lisa Bluder, too. It felt like whoever won this game, it was a victory for Good. I'm so glad it came down to two class acts. PLEASE GOD do not pull any surprises here. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/04/GettyImages-2146987901-1712624034.jpg) CLEVELAND, OH - APRIL 7: The South Carolina Gamecocks storm the court after defeating the Iowa Hawkeyes 87-75 at the 2024 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament championship game between Iowa and South Carolina at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on April 7, 2024 in Cleveland, Ohio.
