Mishael became the first Black woman to win Best Lead Actress at the Daytime Emmys -- this was the 49th annual ceremony, by the way -- and I am thrilled for her. She got a standing ovation at the ceremony, and frankly even if she hadn't won, she'd have deserved applause for the dress alone. It's SO GOOD. I'm thrilled she slayed it on a night when she made history.

Ted, whom I will always think of as GH's Alcazar, won an Emmy for guest-starring on B&B. He and his wife make a dreamy pair.

Saleisha, who has been on Days for years, may officially be the most successful ANTM winner. I love this dress, but it cries out in the night for a lining, and apparently only I hear its pleas.

Sheila is one of the B&B/Y&R universe's iconic villains. She switched babies, was presumed dead in a fire, faked a paternity test, set actual dogs on someone, pushed someone off a balcony, tried to drown someone in a hot tub, tried to drown another person in a pool, poisoned herself, poisoned someone ELSE, choked someone, was rammed with a poker, broke out of prison disguised as someone else, tried to shoot someone, kidnapped a whole bevy of Forresters, drugged someone, drugged ANOTHER person into getting face-changing plastic surgery to look like her clone, got face-changing surgery herself to look like Phyllis, did more choking, had a cage she used a whole lot to keep people imprisoned... and that doesn't even cover her recent stint. This character is why soaps are great. Unfortunately, Kimberlin spoke at the RNC in support of DJT. I hope this is not a "Bride of Q" costume.

Tracey Bregman and Christian LeBlanc

Tracey's character Lauren was the victim of many of Sheila's schemes -- drownings, multiple poisonings, nearly convincing Lauren to leap off a building... long list. Christian, however, did not look like this last time I saw him and I have NO IDEA when he turned into Dr. Emmett Brown.

Deb Scott from One Tree Hill looks very refreshed. (Her daughter is the mumbler on the new Gossip Girl.)

Emily is on Days as Jack Devereaux's daughter, and that facially is very good casting (by Original Jack standards, not that time Mark Valley was Jack). I like this print, even as I recognize that it's veering wildly into 70s territory in a way that might be too much.

For me, Tamara is always Carly #2 on GH -- I thought she did a really good job taking that part and making it hers -- and now I believe she's on Days. I am into this whole thing, except for the requisite hoik.

Kelly's GH character, Britt, became infamous when she freaked out about a wet doll and accidentally hurled it long-distance onto a lit BBQ. That happened in 2013. She won an Emmy last night for the same part, but I think we can all agree she deserved it back then too.
